Some bands have been able to change singers and still be successful and sometimes even more successful than before. Look at Genesis, Van Halen, Journey, and Fleetwood Mac.

Hypothetically, what if Pete, Nick, and Si wanted to continue with The Verve, but Richard had other plans or wasn't interested. Would you support The Verve without RA on vocals? And what if the new singer's vocal aptitude was very similar to RA's?

For example, check out this video. This guy sounds just like Steve Perry from Journey.

I probably would still listen to whatever they put out, unless maybe the singer was so god awful and dragged the whole thing down.

I honestly hope they would never do that, just cause the Verve always were an all or nothing band.  They couldn't carry on as The Verve without Nick, so the same rules should apply to Richard.

However, that song they did with The Black Marquee's singer, "One Track Mind", is supposed to be with Nick, Si and Pete without Richard and it turned out pretty good.

Hmm, I think I would. But if the did they should go by another name. It wouldn't be the Verve without Ashcroft's unique vocals and songwriting skills. He was the Verve in a way
