What did I miss? Can someone please tell me where this song is available? Is it a b-side to a limited edition single or something?

I think this might have been covered on another topic already, but maybe not under the heading "BPO." Anyway, I believe the track came from McCabe who sent it to someone, who then sent it to someone else and so on.

Its about 6 minutes long and has not yet appeared as a b-side/album. The last 30 seconds sound like A Storm in Heaven, similar in sound to "Already There"...something like that. Its unknown what the future of the song is.

Thanks for the links BW.

It sounds good. Would be a good b-side. It's nothing like the album stuff from Forth, though. Wish I could hear the bass in the mix too. The guitars are like a blast from the past.

Months (feels like years) after the album, this song is the one thing that reminds me what Verve are/were. An f'in ace bunch of musicians. I'd like to wake up to this every morning and remember anything is possible. An American tour is possible. Probable... no. A return to Japan. Not likely. I was lucky to get to see them the once in Osaka. It may never happen again. Such is life...

Agreed. The lead/build-up to the end is perfect. The last minute and a half...effing bliss. Tracks like this really bring out the band for me. Hate to use the word 'emotional' but I can totally connect with the band's vibe on an emotional level. It hits the core. Not sure if that makes sense but its a connection with the music. Its mind music...just gets me the right way.

I never understood what happened in Japan that made Richard decide he wasn't going there anymore and inspired the famous "do it yourself" comment. Can anyone spill the beans?

What an absolutely stunning song and bittersweet to hear given the uncertain status of the band.  I always felt as though the 'A Storm In Heaven' era could never be revisited, but this song proves otherwise.  A perfect mix of musicianship, clear vocals, and poignant lyrics.

Edit to add more thoughts.  I"m with Iseehouses in that the music is so clear that it hits one at the core.  McCabe is some guitarist to do such things so effortlessly.  I've never truly heard music or guitar playing until I discovered Nick and all that he has done with The Verve.  I still remember listening to 'A Storm In Heaven' for the first time a good six years after its release and being blown away as to how a band in possession of such musical genius wasn't as much a common household name in the US as say Oasis.  It doesn't matter after all of this time now; The Verve are an experience in and of themselves.

Hi, does anyone have Blue Pacific Ocean, Ma Ma Soul and Muhammad Ali?  I accidentally deleted all three of them.

Also, does anyone know why Ma Ma and Muhammad weren't on the cd?
